In a better mood today. Mom took me to Charming Charlie's and they were having a huge sale. It kind of ruined my goal not to spend money, but I got 6 pairs of earrings for $15 and most of them are huge, just the way I like them. Couldn't say no to that.

My sister came over today. It was the first time I'd seen her in... five months? We'd talked on the phone and stuff, but yeah. It was sort of awkward.

She gave me a card from dad with a check for $125. It would solve a lot of problems but I'm still iffy about whether or not I should cash it.

So Deborah isn't coming to stay with me after all -- her parents bought her a plane ticket home. I guess overall it's probably a good thing, because if she came, I would not get any rest or writing time in, since she needs so much attention. But still.
